The app is free. Cloud is the paid part.

AI Shuffle is free and open source, and nothing about local use is ever limited. AI Shuffle Cloud is the service we run: it lets you reach your workers from anywhere and sync them across networks.

A free account gives you 1 remote worker. The paid plan gives you 3. There is no trial: use the free account for as long as you like, and pay when you want more workers. If the paid plan isn’t for you, email us within 7 days of your first charge for a full refund.

Have a founder code? Enter it after you pick a plan. You sign in first, so the plan lands on your account.

Founder price

Early subscribers get the founder price and keep it for as long as their subscription stays active. Founder pricing: $14 a month or $140 a year.

What you pay us for

AI Shuffle Cloud: remote access to up to 3 workers, sync across networks, connector endpoints and support.

What you never pay us for

The app, its updates and your AI usage. Your provider bills your subscription or API key directly. We don’t resell AI usage or add a markup.

What the paid plan covers

  • Up to 3 remote workers, reachable from anywhere through managed tunnels
  • Sync between your workers when they are on different networks
  • Public endpoints for connectors that need one, such as chat bots and webhooks
  • One-click sign-in for plugins that use our sign-in relay
  • Support through in-app reports and email

Prices are in US dollars; sales tax may be added where it applies. At launch we can’t sell paid plans to buyers in the European Union or the United Kingdom. When a plan ends, nothing in the app stops working, and your free account keeps 1 remote worker. Read the license and Cloud terms and the refund policy, or email support@hobbycoders.com.

Pricing questions

Is AI Shuffle free?

Yes. AI Shuffle is free and open source under the AGPL-3.0 license. The source code is at github.com/HobbyCoders/ai-shuffle. Download, install and update it without an account, a license key or a payment. Nothing about local use is ever limited.

Do I need my own AI account?

Yes, one from any supported provider. AI Shuffle doesn’t include any AI usage. You connect your own account with Claude, OpenAI, OpenRouter, xAI Grok or a custom gateway, by subscription sign-in or API key, and that provider bills you directly.

You need one provider to start. You can add more later in Settings, and each one bills you under its own terms.

Is there a free trial?

There is no trial, because you don’t need one. The app is free, and a free account gives you 1 remote worker with no card and no time limit. Pay when you want more workers.

What happens if I cancel Cloud?

Your paid plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. After that, your free account keeps 1 remote worker and our service stops serving the extra tunnels. Nothing in the app stops working: agents, chats, projects, files, settings, exports, backups, access on your network or VPN, and updates all stay. At any time, Settings → System → Export all data downloads every chat (as a private backup .jsonl and as Markdown), every agent and your project list in one ZIP. Is there a team plan?

Not yet. A Cloud plan is for one person’s account. Each person uses their own AI accounts; sharing one AI subscription between several people is against the AI providers’ terms, and AI Shuffle is not built for it.
