AI Shuffle · HobbyCoders
Terms of service
These terms are an agreement between you and HobbyCoders (“we”, “us”). They cover the AI Shuffle app in every form (the Docker image, the Unraid template, the desktop app and the Android app), this website, the AI Shuffle connection service and our license service. By installing or using AI Shuffle, you agree to them.
Effective September 23, 2026
1. Your license
We license AI Shuffle to you; we don’t sell it. What you may do with it, how many machines a license covers, the trial, and license checks are in the license terms, which are part of these terms. Refunds follow the refund policy.
2. Third-party AI providers and your AI spend
AI Shuffle starts AI tools on the computer where you install it, including Claude Code and other command-line agents, and connects them to the AI provider accounts or API keys that you set up. Those tools bill through your own provider accounts, under the providers’ own terms.
HobbyCoders is not a party to your agreement with any AI provider. We don’t pay for, resell or act as an intermediary for your AI usage, and we are not responsible for a provider’s charges, usage limits, account actions, or data retention and training practices. Prompts, files and outputs you send to an AI provider go directly from your installation to that provider and are not sent to us.
You are responsible for complying with each provider’s terms, including any limits on automated or unattended use of subscription plans. You sign in to each provider yourself, in the provider’s own sign-in flow.
3. What agents can do on your machine
Agents in AI Shuffle can read and write files and run commands with the permissions of the account that runs AI Shuffle. Choose carefully which folders, tools and integrations you give them, and review what they do. You are responsible for the actions agents take on your systems and accounts.
AI Shuffle is an AI system. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or unsafe. Check it before you rely on it.
4. Acceptable use
Don’t use AI Shuffle or our services to:
- break the law or anyone’s rights, or attack, probe or overload systems you don’t own;
- share one person’s AI account or subscription with other people, or route other people’s work through it;
- serve malware, phishing or other harmful content through a remote-access address we provide;
- get around license checks, usage limits or security measures, or resell or redistribute AI Shuffle.
We may suspend remote access or the connection service for an account that breaks these rules, and we will tell you why when we can.
5. Your data
Your projects, sessions, files and database stay on the machines where you install AI Shuffle. We don’t receive them. Keeping backups is your responsibility. The privacy policy says exactly what our services receive.
6. Connection service and remote access
Signing in to an account and remote access are optional. If you use them, your worker gets an address under hobbycoders.com, served through a Cloudflare tunnel, so your phone and browsers can reach it. We may change, limit or end the connection service, for example to stop abuse or to protect other users, and we will give notice when we reasonably can. Local use of AI Shuffle never depends on it.
7. Billing, renewal and cancellation
A paid license is a subscription, billed monthly or yearly in US dollars through Stripe. It renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; the license stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Prices shown at checkout may have sales tax added where it applies.
We may change prices for future periods and will tell you at least 30 days before a change applies to you. A founder price is locked for as long as that subscription stays active.
If a payment fails, your license keeps working for 14 days while you update your payment details. A chargeback or payment reversal ends the license; please contact us first so we can sort it out.
8. Updates and availability
AI Shuffle checks for updates when it starts and periodically after that. While your license is active you get new versions. We may add, change or remove features. We aim to keep our services available but can’t promise they will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Trademarks and affiliation
Claude and Claude Code are trademarks of Anthropic, PBC. AI Shuffle is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic. Other product names belong to their owners. AI Shuffle and HobbyCoders are our names; don’t use them in a way that suggests we endorse you.
10. No warranty
AI Shuffle and our services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, HobbyCoders is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or AI provider charges. Our total liability for any claim about AI Shuffle or our services is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
12. Ending this agreement
You can stop using AI Shuffle at any time. We may end your license or access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Sections 2, 5 and 9 to 13 continue after the agreement ends.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable US federal law. Disputes go to the state and federal courts located in Florida, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them elsewhere.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For a material change, we will give notice on this page and by email to paying customers at least 14 days before it applies. Continuing to use AI Shuffle after that means you accept the new terms.
